Yesterday was my Mompreneurs: Mamas in Business Panel Event. I am so happy with the way it turned out. At first I was nervous because people in Atlanta arrive to events sooo late! I was like OMG no one is coming lol! I went ahead and got started with the panel and people started rolling on in. My mom was such a huge help – manning the door and watching AnnDrew! A lot of my friends came early to come help set up and it went so smooth! It’s so funny because I am always so stressed out and nervous before each event and they always go well and once its over I feel so relieved lol. I love these events because women really leave feeling so inspired with great new connections.  Women always send me messages after telling me how much they loved the event and how it helped them.

That is my #1 goal with these events.

If you are unfamiliar with this event, the panel is an insightful and inspiring one that includes a panel of women that own their own companies while managing to balance business and family life. So many women choose family over career or vice versa. The panelists explain to the attendees how they manage to juggle both business and family day to day and will let the attendees know that it does not have to be “either or”, it can be “and”. Women get to come out and network with women that share the same passions. This is my third panel – the first one was in NYC and the second in DC.

1. Andrea Hamilton (@fashiondree) – Publicist and CEO of Theory Communications
