I am really into nice stationery – invitations, thank you cards, greeting cards, etc. A few months ago, I was helping my friends organize their baby shower and they asked me to find some nice shower invitations. I went on my usual sites and sent them a bunch of options, but they didn’t feel like they found the exact one they wanted. They sent me one they liked from pinterest and it was from a website called Basic Invite. I had never heard about the site, but I quickly grew to love it.
Of course, there are a ton of sites that make custom stationery, but Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. I really hate having to wait for a preview, so that was a mega plus. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the smallest detail. Another plus for me! Not being able to change every color option can be annoying, and that is what I feel sets them apart from almost any other online stationery company and is their biggest draw.
Back to my friend’s baby shower…
I definitely want to let you guys know this next point, because this helped us tremendously. They were very particular about the color they wanted, but Basic Invite allows you to order a printed sample of your actual invitation so you can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order. The color we chose at first, was not the exact one they wanted, so thank goodness for the custom samples.
The detail that is taken into account with custom orders are awesome. You can choose from over 40 different colored envelopes and even get the addresses printed for free. They are really good about customer service. I love to share companies with you guys that are quality and have good customer service. Below are some examples of cute stationery made by Basic Invite.
