I love Korean skincare products! They are amazing and there is nothing like them. A few months ago, I started following the creator of Glow Recipe. I fell in love with the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask- which I might add had a wait list of 5,000 people within a few days! When I saw it was watermelon scented, I immediately was all for it!! They then came out with a new watermelon oil free “juice” moisturizer, which was also a hit! I read that bottles of the jellylike formula sold out within the first two hours of their presale. So of course I was too hype to try these products and give you all a rundown on them.
I tested the moisturizer and the sleeping mask for a few days, I can attest: its worth the hype. It smells like a watermelon Jolly Rancher, which I love! After a few seconds after applying it, it leaves a velvet smooth finish on your skin. If you’ve used a hyaluronic acid before, it’s a similar feeling—and given that Glow Recipe’s formula includes the hyper-moisturizing acid along with “vitamin-rich watermelon,” antioxidants, and “soothing botanicals,” that effect checks out.
Hyaluronic acid moisturizes your skin for only an hour or so, unless you lock it in with a heavy cream on top. No need with the Pink Juice! Whenever I apply it, my skin has stayed bouncy and flake-free for the rest of the day. Emphasis on the bounce: Korean beauty routines are famed for creating skin that looks like you invested at least 10 steps in getting it to a translucent, collagen-crazy state. The Pink Juice delivers that without the time commitment, and leaves behind a subtle, light-bouncing sheen in the best possible way.
They also come with a top that has an applying stick, so you don’t use too much 😉 I haven’t tried the Jelly sheet masks yet, but I am 100% positive, I will fall in love all over again.
