When you consider yourself a boss, you are in charge of your world. You make and own your decisions. When you travel, you do it big like a boss. That doesn’t necessarily mean you have to fly first class or book the best suite in a hotel. When you #TravelLikeABoss, it means you own your time and experience. When I travel, I love to stay in a hotel that makes me feel like I’m making boss moves. Today, I got to experience Cambria Hotel New York – Chelsea and this hotel definitely appeals to experience hungry travelers.
Today I attended the #TravelLikeABoss event at the Cambria Hotel in Chelsea. Cambria® Hotels properties are found throughout the world. I was surprised at how many locations there were. Once I walked in, the staff was very accommodating. I like to drive and the hotel offers valet. That is a plus because a lot of travelers rent cars, so valet is always For The Winnn! When I got to my room, I was hype to see all of the outlets by the head boards. When I travel, I find that hotel rooms never have enough outlets near the bed. Cambria Hotels are definitely business friendly. I explored the hotel a bit to check out all of the amenities it offers before the event.
The bar area is super cute. It was stocked with all of the popular drink favorites and had extra seating to accommodate a lit happy hour. Cambria Hotels also have these cute coasters with photos from different cities that their hotels are located in. They let you keep them and if you bring one of them to a Cambria Hotel location, you get a free drink! How cool is that?!
When I travel for business, I love to be in a room that is conducive to my working environment. Cambria Hotels are perfect for that. I was able to relax comfortably, read the paper, and respond to all of my emails. After getting work done, I headed up to the rooftop for the event.
The rooftop views are amazingggg! The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the city, so the views are phenomenal. I knew it was going to be a fun time because of the fun interactive stations set up:
- “Coaster Connections”
- Craft Beer flight station
- Cambria location inspired hors d’oeuvres
- Shoe shine station
- Luggage Tag station
- Drybar styling station
- Virtual reality station
My favorite was the luggage tag station. There was a women customizing cute leather luggage tags on the spot! I got 3 😉 The location hors d’oeuvres were cute. There were different appetizers that were based in different city based hotels.
Overall, the hotel gets an A+ in my books. The rooms are a good size and are very spacious. Everything is modern in the hotel – from the bathroom design to the lobby design. I also love that the brand is expanding all over the world. There are hotels in every major city and they are still expanding. Because I travel so much, I am big on loyalty reward programs.
