We just returned from a Palm Springs getaway. This was my third time visiting and each time is always a good one. Palm Springs has been a popular vacation destination for years, not only by California locals but everyone! Palm Springs straddles the desert and Joshua Tree and hosts a ton of things to do. If you are looking for something that is more of a chill vibe, there are plenty of opportunities to accomplish that. Relaxing by the pool, shopping, eating at delicious restaurants, visiting a spa, walking around downtown or even golfing! There is something for any kind of traveler.

This post is all about a Palm Springs getaway.

WHERE WE STAYED:

For our Palm Springs getaway, we stayed at the Miramonte Resort + Spa in Indian Hills and we loved it. The property is gorgeous and has a lot of activities. This hotel gives you desert vibes with a luxurious feel. Once you walk in, you are greeted with beautiful neutral tones, large Olive tree trees, comfortable and relaxing seating and modern fire pits. There are a few different pools where you can lay poolside with one of their speciality drinks in hand. If you are in the mood to relax, their Well Spa is a must visit. We got a couples massage and it was perfect. One of the things I loved were the fire pits all around the hotel. Palm Springs can get a bit chilly at night, so these come in handy! And let’s not forget making s’mores over the fire, which makes for a cute night.

WHAT WE ATE:

While there we ate good!! The hotel has a restaurant on site and the food is delish! Literally, every meal we had was yummy. If you visit the hotel and eat at Citrus & Palm, you must try the Salmon and the Mediterranean chicken!

We visited our favorite, Mr Lyons on our first night there. One of our friends recommended we try Tropicale and SO.PA at L’Horizon Resort and Spa. I checked it out and the reviews are great! Perfect for a Palm Springs getaway!
