This post is all about color trends for 2022.
Spring is here and it is time to add some color to our wardrobe. This season’s color trends for 2022 are both bright and fun, which makes creating fun looks for the season even more enjoyable. Lime green, saturated yellow, Kelly Green (of course) and sunset orange are all color hues that will be trending this Spring/Summer 2022. Here is a quick rundown of all the latest trending colors to help you feel inspired to incorporate color into your wardrobe this season:
Kelly Green will forever be hot, but Primary Blue may be giving Kelly Green a run for its money, especially royal blue. Here are a few inspiration pictures to help you envision how to style the Primary Blue trend this Spring. Be mindful of pairing red or white with Primary Blue, unless your goal is to style a look for July 4th.
According to fashion’s top designers, we’re in for a very limeade 2022. Just look at the color palette! Lime green, saturated yellow, classic Kelly green and sunset orange are all trending hues incorporated on all of the Spring/Summer 2022 runways, each with its own special flare. This vibrant lime green is beautiful and vibrant for the season. It’s always safe to pair it with a more subtle color shoe such as white, nude or black. But pairing it with a pop of color is always awesome. I love the way the pink shoe is paired with the green dress. Also, this color could be used as an enhancement to a monochromatic white or a denim on denim look.
This season is all about finding the brightest colors and rocking it from head to toe. A lot of monochromatic looks will be popular this season, especially with the color orange. Luckily, if you can not think of what to wear, look for shades of orange to pair together with nudes or whites for a bright spring monochromatic look.
Cerulean blue is a shade of blue, however it is not a royal blue but closer to turquoise. It’s a great color to try this spring. Cerulean pairs well with Orange, white and black, nudes, yellows and pinks – basically every thing!
This is a happy color trend for Spring. This Spring it is all about the brightest shades of yellow, almost a neon yellow hue. No matter which way you decide to wear this color, whether it is in an edgy way or casual way it is guaranteed to boost your mood!
Kelly Green is that girl, but we already knew that! It’s rich, playful and bold. Honestly, it’s like Kelly Green is the new black. Swap out some of your black pieces in your wardrobe and replace them with a fun color like Kelly Green. This hue is also known as Bottega Green, from the infamous Kelly Green Mini Jodie bag that everyone loves. There are so many brands that are following along with this trendy hue this season. Last but not least, Hot Pink. This shade of pink is unique and stands out amongst a crowd. We recently saw hot pink on the red carpet for the 2022 Grammy awards and it was beautiful! Hot pink can be paired with white, black or orange. This specific shade of pink has a more purplish tent than a Barbie pink. It’s still very fun for Spring and Summer and holds a lot of power, hence the reason why we are seeing it in a lot of designers’ collections for Spring/Summer 2022.
Here are some really cute pieces in all of the colors I mentioned:
