I think my namesake, Melanie Fiona, is awesome! Every so often, we text each other to check on how our babies are doing. If I ever have a question, I know I can ask her. A couple of months ago she put out a video of her birth story and her initial feelings of motherhood. Everyone plans how they want their birth to go but God’s plan for us isn’t always what we want. I typed up a birth plan and packed it in my hospital bag. That plan never made it out the bag lol.
