I think its very important to come up with fun ideas to do when you want to spend time with your kids. There are so many cute things that you can do with your little ones that you both will love. A relaxing afternoon at the nail salon is a great way to enjoy quality time with your kids, where you can focus on each other. And, it’s a treat for you as well. It’s a fun, bonding activity that also provides pampering for mom!
The other day, AnnDrew and I got mommy and me manicures at JINsoon Salon in TriBeca. This was AnnDrew’s first time getting a manicure and I was SO EXCITED! She always watches me when I paint my nails and always wants hers painted, so this was a treat for her. She decided to get the color blue with sparkles. She sat so well while the manicurist painted her nails. Letting them dry was a whole other story LOL. One hand did perfectly… That other hand got JACKED up. She would not let that hand live and be great haha. The lady had to do it over one more time and it came out so cute.
Little girls love these type of activities with mom and they will remember these times forever. I highly recommend doing something sweet like this with your mini. There are also a lot of salons in NYC that are kid friendly and have toxic free nail polish.
