As I get older, I am getting more into using natural products. Do you guys ever realize what type of chemicals are in household cleaning products? Mannn, they contain all types of abrasive chemicals, like ammonia and acids that are harmful to us. After a lot of research and trial/error, I have found a great DIY recipe for household all purpose cleaners. You can purchase an empty spray bottle at Target or the Hair Store and they don’t cost any more than 5 bucks! Check out the recipe below and let me know if you have any other recipes 😉

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of vinegar
  • 1/2 gallon distilled water
  • 2 tbsp baking soda

Combine all of these ingredients, pour in the spray bottle and give a nice shake. Vinegar is a safe bleach alternative that cuts grease and removes stains from countertops, faucets and cabinets. You can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for a nice scent. I like lavender and lemon scent.
