Hola! We recently got back from our family vacation to Mexico. We originally were going to Mexico to attend our friends wedding, but we decided to add another leg to the trip which included something fun for the kids. My daughter’s birthday was the day before the trip, so this was also a birthday celebration for her.

I always forget how hot Mexico is but let me tell yaaaa… I was quickly reminded once we walked out the airport lol. That Mexican heat always slaps you in the face once you walk out of those airport doors but it’s always a good time. I wanted to share a lot about the second leg of our trip because that hotel is such an AWESOME hotel for anyone – couples, singles or families! As usual, I am sharing our trip details below.

Here is the full vlog of our stay. Make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel, so you can see all of our travel vlogs.

WHERE WE STAYED

The hotel we stayed at for the wedding was Finest Playa Mujeres. This hotel was really pretty and had a lot of pools, kids club, nice spacious rooms, spas for all ages and much more.

The second hotel we stayed at was Hotel Xcaret Mexico. This hotel was also very nice, had great food, a lot of pool areas, kid zones and fun amusement parks. When you book at Hotel Xcaret, it is all inclusive AND you get access to unlimited access and transportation to all water parks, which is about 8 I believe. Transportation to and from the airport is also included in your stay. We plan to go back because there is so much to do there and we didn’t get a chance to do everything. There are so many amazing things to do: water slides, cenotes, zip lines, swim with dolphins, scuba, drive monster trucks and SO much more.

WHAT WE DID

WHERE WE ATE

Both hotels were all inclusive, which was amazing. All inclusive are the best because you can eat any type of food at any time of day. We ate endless tacos, quesadillas, seafood, authentic Mexican food and more!

WHAT WE WORE

Below are the links to outfits/items we wore on the trip.
