When AnnDrew was 2 months old, friends of ours asked us to come on a vacation with them.  They were going to St. Thomas and the British Virgin Islands.  Drew and I love to travel so of course we were ready to go. Now that we had a baby we had a lot more to consider. We had to get the baby her passport first and foremost.  That was super exciting for me because getting a passport is major, and she is still a newborn.  What a blessing! Our baby will have some passport stamps at 2 months old.  There are so many adults that never leave their hometown.

Of course me being me (doing the most), I researched every sun screen, bug spray tips and tricks.  I probably went to Babies-R-Us a dozen times trying to make sure we were prepared for our trip.  I had the sun screen, face sticks, bug sprays, portable fans, sun hats, swim suits, water diapers, sand blankets and more! Lets just say our check luggage was heavy babbyyyy *Jennifer Hudson voice* lol.

Ok, everything was packed. Now to worry about how she will do on the plane.  While traveling through the airport, I had my cloth baby carrier on and had her in there. Its very easy to get through security with a cloth carrier that won’t set off any alarms. She was able to sleep peacefully. Once we made it through security, the real worry was here: the actual plane ride. I read endless blogs giving tips on how to keep a newborn calm on the plane.  Every site said the same thing: feed the baby during take off and landing so their ears equalize. I did it and was so hype that she did not cry once! She ate and slept the entire plane ride.  I would recommend doing that to anyone.
