I remember back in the day, girls choosing to be cute over bundling up. It’s over for those days! I need to be warm, okkk?! When it is cold out, I do not play when it comes to my winter coats. I own so many different style winter coats, but they all serve the same purpose. By investing in good winter coats, you are also creating a sustainable wardrobe. If you invest in a really good one, your coat will last you more seasons, so the price will be worth it.
Dropping more than $250 on a coat that you will prob only use a couple months out of the year may not be appealing to some, so I found a few nice options for you.
Here are a few tips to help when shopping for winter coats:
Make sure you search for fabrics that will definitely “have your back” lol. Wools, wool-blends, faux furs or down fabrics will definitely keep you warm. Wool-blends will be a more budget friendly option over a higher percentage wool.
I like to find coats that have nice deep pockets. That way your phone and hands can fit and stay warm while on the move. Imagine forgetting gloves at home…pockets to the rescue.
Below are 11 awesome styles I found:
My coat in the photos is Andrew Marc Shea Faux Toscana Shearling Coat. I purchased this coat in 2017 and unfortunately, it is sold out. This proves my point of investing in a nice coat that lasts. I’m still wearing this one today and I purchased it years ago!
