Before I get into our day, lets talk about this weather….Whyyyy was it so cold yesterday?! I mean, it was BRICK! The type of cold where you walk outside and you immediately become ashy. That type of cold that makes a tear drop fall down your cheek. That type of damn cold that feels like you have pins and needles in your face. LOL

I had to go visit a space and then we walked around and went to eat. The space I went to look at was BKLYN Commons. To describe the space, it is coworking made simple. Gorgeous and centrally located, BKLYN Commons offers flexible work space options, uniquely crafted meeting rooms, and affordable membership rates. They provide dynamic spaces that fuel productivity, networking, and relaxation. The venue is a hidden gem in Brooklyn. My favorite part of the space was the famous green velvet couch with the awesome wallpaper!! The space is decorated so cute with so many photo worthy walls. If you ever need a great coworking space, you should definitely check them out.
After we left from visiting the venue, it was time to eat. We planned on going to While We Were Young, which is a VERY CUTE restaurant in west village. They weren’t open when we were ready to eat, so we did a bit of shopping in the neighborhood while we waited for them to open. It was so cold and I wanted them to open so bad so we could hurry up and get comfortable in some heat lol! Once they opened, we quickly got the corner seat and had the couch all to ourselves for a while! You know everyone wants the window seat (shout out to Erykah Badu), so they can people watch. OMG the pink velvet couch is all that! I LOVE IT!! We have a blue velvet couch in our house, but I need to swap it out for the tufted baby pink haha! Its really such a pretty place. Good describe the food in a short and simple description, it is Healthy Contemporary Cuisine. The restaurant is very small but the décor is pretty and it is great for groups of 2-4. Good food, atmosphere and drinks – what more could you ask for. The drinks are delish and they look even better. They also have really good music – that we actually like and listen to! When Biggie came on, we were like OOKKKKK. When you get your bill, you get handed a mini pack of gummy bears. The guy who owns it said that his late father used to do that when he owned a restaurant. He’s carrying on the tradition.
AnnDrew tore up her food and sat contently while she was eating, so they get two thumbs up from her 😉 If you haven’t already, you have to go visit! Here are some pictures below…
