DIAPER BAG ESSENTIALS

One of my readers asked what kind of diaper bag I have and what are my essentials. My diaper bag is not the conventional diaper bag. I carry a Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag because I wasn’t really into the diaper bags you typically see in stores. My diaper bag has enough space for what I need and more and is still fashionable. Below are my diaper bag essentials.

 

Diapers- one for each hour I’ll be out. Plus extra! You never know if your baby will be feeling extra saucy lol.

Wipes- LOTS of wipes. I have baby wipes to change AnnDrew’s diaper and small messes. I also have Babyganics antibacterial wipes (click the link) for when people touch her hands since she always keeps them in her mouth now.

Hand Sanitizer- for my hands after I change her diaper and because I give it to people to put on before they hold her lol.

Changing pad- perfect for when we are out.

Diaper Change Bags– (click for the link to product) I got these bags from Babiesrus and they are awesome. They have a great scent to block the soiled diaper smells.

Blanket- You never know if it will be cold where you go when you are running errands.

Lots of bibs and burp cloths- I always keep extra bibs in case of lots of drool or spit up.

Extra Change of clothes- Always have an extra change of clothes in case of a diaper blow out or a big throw up. I learned this the hard way!

Nursing Cover- I have this with me all the time. It’s perfect to feed the baby with while out.

Toys- You may not need these if you have a newborn but once your baby gets around 3 months of age, rattles or any other noise making objects are great to distract and keep baby entertained.

Nose aspirator- just in case

Umbrella- just in case it’s rains or it’s extra sunny and the baby needs shade.

I have other items in my bag that just get thrown in there but these are my essentials.
